The communities of rural Nebraska and Colorado thrive on local activities all year, especially in the summertime.

That’s one of the things we love about our customers and a big reason why we join in the fun! We’ll discuss three of the many summer events Viaero Wireless is a part of on the 2016 summer calendar.

In July, community members of our Nebraska Panhandle Region can experience rock legends in a one-night amphitheater setting or spend time at a 2-Day rodeo sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. Communities located a little further south in the heartland of Northeast Colorado can enjoy a two-day music festival in City Park near our headquarters in Fort Morgan.

Brett Michaels, former lead vocalist for Poison, headlined Viaero Rocks on July 1st at Five Rocks Amphitheater in Gering, Nebraska. Two other well-known “glam metal” bands, Warrant and Firehouse, performed as opening acts to this all-night affair.

The all ages show is Gering’s biggest rock concert of the year and Viaero Wireless has a wonderful history sponsoring this event hosted by Bluffs Broadcasting. This year’s community support is stronger than ever as tickets sales soared once available to the public earlier this year.

If you’re located near our Scottsbluff, Chadron and Sidney Viaero Wireless store location, visit these store location web pages for hours and location: Scottsbluff Store page, Chadron Store page, and Sidney Store page.

The Fourth of July Weekend in Crawford offered Nebraska residents with a two-day rodeo event on July 3rd and 4th at the Old West Trail Rodeo Arena. The annual Old West Trail Rodeo featured an assortment of events including bareback, bull-riding, steer wrestling, team roping and more.

The history of the Old West Trail Rodeo dates back to the 1940’s when it was first created as a fundraiser to build a hospital in Crawford. In 1981, the rodeo was renamed with its current title and is an anticipated annual event during Independence Day weekend.

Visit the Old West Trail Rodeo website for further information.

Fort Morgan’s City Park sets the venue for the Bobstock Music Festival featuring 15 bands including national headliners such as Grand Funk Railroad. The free two-day event (July 8th and 9th) not only includes a fabulous lineup of live-music, but also has a community breakfast and “Strut Your Mutt Pet Walk.”

Viaero Wireless is based in Fort Morgan, thus a big reason why this is one of our favorite events to interact with the local community. Starting on Friday evening and continuing all day and night on Saturday, Bobstock offers fun to be had by all.

Visit our Fort Morgan Store to inquire further about the event.
