Viaero Wireless’s Live Camera Network Helps Track Hazardous Conditions during Winter Storm Dorothy

Fort Morgan, Colorado, November 26th, 2019: Winter Storm Dorothy, forecasted to drop more than a foot of snow and create dangerous blizzard conditions in some areas, could deter Thanksgiving travel plans across the Midwest. Startling images continue to be captured by Viaero’s live tower camera network as the storm makes its way across Colorado into Nebraska and Wyoming.

Several of Viaero’s news network partners and national cable networks like the Weather Channel have relied on the live images to inform the public of deteriorating road conditions and heavy snow accumulations. Winter Storm Ezekiel is also scheduled to produce snow and wind in Northeastern Colorado and the Midwest later this week.

News networks and partners have previously used images produced by Viaero’s camera network during Colorado’s Spring Creek Fire and the development of life-threatening storms. Viaero is pleased to provide the cameras as a service to its communities. Before making any travel plans, residents and tourists can check live road and weather conditions online at https://www.viaero.com/community/live-weather-videos/.
