The 7th Annual Pedal the Plains Bicycle Tour offers cyclists scenic routes highlighting agricultural towns in the eastern Colorado plains. Riders get a firsthand experience of heartland values and a chance to honor the communities we call home.

When you have next to nothing, every little bit counts. Numerous local charitable organizations throughout our communities do what they can to help those in need. These organizations can’t accomplish their missions alone: they need our help.

The hardworking residents who live in the rural communities of southern and eastern Colorado are capable of making the best of any situation, but decreasing population and fewer job opportunities haven’t made things easy. Factories and plants are moving to more densely populated locations along the Front Range, taking jobs and people with them. Many factories have gone out of business altogether.

Central Nebraskan hockey fans were invited to test mobile tech gadgets from Alcatel during the Tri-City Storm’s home-opener at the Viaero Center in Kearney, Nebraska. Attendees experienced Alcatel’s virtual reality (VR) goggles and wearable OneTouch GO Watch first-hand.

Our wireless customers are scattered throughout the heartland, including many areas in Nebraska. We enjoy seeing our rural communities thrive.  But, over the last four decades, young adults, or millennials, and college students have been leaving Nebraska at a growing rate.

 
Kearney, Nebraska is home to the Viaero Center which serves as a premiere venue for sports, entertainment, and other local and regional community events. Central Nebraska residents and visitors are treated to a variety of affairs at this world-class events center year-round including recreational and professional sporting competitions, concerts, ice skating, trade show events and more.
